The following software is available for free download and will play both MP3 (audio) and MP4 (video) files. Both Windows PC and Macintosh OS X versions are available:

With compatible software, recent PCs and Macintosh computers should support playing of the podcasts. In addition, the files can be played on portable multimedia devices such as Apple's iPod and Microsoft's Zune.
